Pinus mugo ‘Moppet’

Pinus mugo 'Moppet' is a dwarf, flattened-globose selection of mugo pine with dense branching and short, medium green needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 12 inches (30 cm) tall and 16 inches (40 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of slightly more than 1 inch (2.5 cm).

This cultivar originated as a witch's broom found in 1988 on a specimen of Pinus mugo 'Mops' at the Iseli Nursery, Boring, Oregon, USA.
