Two New Reference Gardens Named in Western Region

South Seattle Community College Arboretum in Washington State (the first ACS Reference Garden in WA) and Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens in California have been named to the ACS Reference Garden program. The garden at SSCC was designed and supervised by Bob Fincham of Coenosium Gardens, an ACS founding member. MCBG, under the leadership of Director Mary Anne Payne, has a dwarf conifer collection started with plans for expansion.
