The ACS Has a New Look

By Sara Malone
The ACS Board of Directors is introducing our new logo, designed by graphic artist Trish Anderson of Little Boat Enterprises and commissioned by Joe Carli, former Western Region President. Joe believed that it was time for a new, fresh ooh and enlisted Trish to make it happen. Though not a conehead herself, Trish plunged into the land of conifers and created several designs and the trial group unanimously chose this one.
We favored a pine because pines grow in all four regions and we also wanted a design that featured both needles and cones. Along with the new logo is a new tagline: Enter the Cone Zone! We will make templates available for regions to use in designing their own clothing and accessories and we have plans to sell logo clothing on the website.
Thanks, Joe, for making it happen!
