Courtney named ACS Office Manager

ACS president Larry Nau and the Board of Directors have announced that Steve Courtney of Maple Grove, MN, will assume the position of office manager effective today replacing John Martin of Lewisville, NC, who, earlier this year, announced his retirement.

"The ACS thanks outgoing office manager John Martin for his 14 years of service to the American Conifer Society," said Nau. "John has been most generous with his time and talent during his tenure as ACS office manager. John has been working closely with Steve to assure a smooth transition and no interruption in ACS services to our members or inquiries from the public."

Courtney comes to the job after seven years as general manager of Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, MI, the site of the 2012 ACS National Meeting. He has served as the Central Region Director on the ACS national Board and treasurer of the ACS Central Region since 2009. (see: Press Release)
