The ACS is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the knowledge, appreciation and conservation of conifers both in the wild and in cultivation. We number amongst our membership academics, students, nursery professionals, hobbyists, and collectors. Our publications, meetings and events are information-packed, fun and often involve access to once in a lifetime rare and unusual plants.

The use of the conifer palette to provide structure, diversity and drop-dead specimens in modern landscapes has exploded due in large part to the ACS and its many professional members, broom hunters, and garden designers. The world of conifers in all its diversity promises an amazing transformation of modern garden design and enjoyment.

The ACS $2500 Scholarship wishes to recognize and reward those students that have become aware of this transformational aspect in their educational field and wish to join with us in making the wonders of using conifers in the garden a reality. Please explore our website and if you are interested in helping ACS pursue our mission, please apply for our Scholarship.

Please feel free to email or write to me with any questions that you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
