Tsuga canadensis 'Plainview' / Plainview Canadian hemlock

Tsuga canadensis 'Plainview' is an upright, pyramidal, tree-form of Canadian hemlock with open branching and species-typical, bright, medium green foliage. After 10 years, a mature specimen will measure 4 feet (1.5 m) tall and 3 feet (1 m) wide, an annual growth rate of 4 to 6 inches (10 - 15 cm).

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in the mid-1980s by M. & J. Kristick Nursery, Wellsville, Pennsylvania, USA.
