Sequoia sempervirens 'Filoli' is a fast-growing, upright, tree form of Coast redwood with open loose branching and exceptional, bright, steel Blue foliage. After10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 20 feet (6 m) tall and 10 feet (3 m) wide, an annual growth rate of 2 feet (60 cm) or more. It makes for an impressive statement in a large landscape.

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in the early 1990s at the Saratoga Horticultural Research Foundation, San Martin, California. It is named in honor of the Filoli Estate in Woodside, California. Sequoia sempervirens 'Woodside' is a synonym of this plant.
