Pinus thunbergii 'Nishiki-tsukasa'
This bushy plant exhibits fissured bark at an early age. It appears to have entered the nursery trade in the US in a 1989 catalog listing of Bob Fincham's Coenosium Gardens (Eatonville, WA), although it may have circulated among collectors for some time previous and likely originated in Japan.
