Pinus thunbergii ‘Aocha

An upright, bushy variegated cultivar but with irregular variegation. Some branches can be all green, some all yellow and some a mix of both. Needs full sun and room to grow. According to the RHS Encyclopedia of Conifers this Japanese Black Pine was first listed by L.C. Hatch in 1985.
Sometimes called 'Aocha-kuru-matsu' or 'Aocha-kuro-matsu, which in Japanese nomenclature means "two needle pine" (but does not refer to P. densiflora.)
