Pinus sylvestris 'Little Brolly' is a flattened, spreading, dwarf selection of Scots pine thin, wiry, slightly contorted branching; and short, light green needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 18 inches (45 cm) tall and 32 inches (80 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 1.5 to 2 inches (2 to 5 cm).
This cultivar originated as a witch's broom seedling selected in the mid-1980s by John Proudfoot at Almondell Nursery, Scotland, United Kingdom.
