Pinus strobus × ayacahuite

Pinus strobus × ayacahuite is a sythetic hybrid of eastern white pine (P. strobus) and Mexican white pine (P. ayacahuite), made by Rich Jaynes and Earl Cully from hybrid selections at the Yale University Forest Research Center.

Named cultivars are reasonably hardy and have long, Blue-green needles and a compact growth habit.
