Pinus pumila ‘Dwarf Blue

Iseli has selected and successfully marketed the Blue Dwarf Japanese Stone Pine because of its outstanding silver-Blue color and dense, spreading characteristics. When mature, and under the right conditions, it will display showy reddish cones in spring. It has been known to do well in Zone 4, one zone colder than previously recommended.

(Obrizok) synonym for 'Glauca'. Sometimes called 'Dwarf Blue' which is an illegitimate name. See Pinus pumila 'Glauca'
