Picea pungens 'Iseli Fastigiate' / Iseli Fastigiate Colorado spruce

Picea pungens 'Iseli Fastigiate' a moderately fast-growing selection of Colorado Spruce with tight upward branching holding bright steely Blue needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 10 feet (3 m) tall and 2.5 feet (75 cm) wide, an average growth rate of nearly 1 foot (30 cm).
This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in 1965 by Iseli Nursery, Inc. of Boring, Oregon, USA. Some references, particularly in Europe, attempt to violate I.C.B.N.'s "!959 rule" by listing the plant as 'Iseli Fastigiata.'
