Picea pungens ‘Bizon Blue’

Picea pungens 'Bizon Blue' is a slow-growing, pyramidal selection of Colorado spruce with dense, symmetrical branching and vibrant, silvery-blue needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 8 feet (2.3 m) tall and 4 feet (1.3 m) wide, an annual growth rate of 6 to 8 inches (15 - 20 cm).

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected for dense growth habit and exceptional, durable color by Bizon Nursery, Hubbard, Oregon.
