Picea mariana ‘Aureovariegata’

"A cultivar with a confusing nomenclature, as pointed out by H.J. Welch. It has been grown as P. glauca 'Aurea' for years. (Conifers The Illustrated Encyclopedia - D.M. van Gelderen and J.R.P. van Hoey Smith).
'Very rare. Needle tips yellow-gold, at least on young foliage. Lovely; Looks from a distance like a yellow-tipped BLUE COLORADO SPRUCE.' (NORTH AMERICAN LANDSCAPE TREES - Arthur Lee Jacobsen)
