Picea abies 'Oldenburg' / Oldenburg Norway spruce

Picea abies 'Oldenburg' is a slow-growing, dwarf, perfectly globose selection of Norway spruce with dense symmetrical branches and short medium-green needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 12 to 18 inches (30 - 45 cm) tall and wide, an annual growth rate of 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5 - 4 cm).

This cultivar originated as a witch's broom found in the 1980s by Gert Bohme in the German town of Oldenburg.
