Picea abies 'Kellerman's Blue Cameo' / Kellerman's Blue Cameo Norway spruce

Picea abies 'Kellerman's Blue Cameo' is a dwarf, flattened-globose selection of Norway spruce with short, stout, Blue-gray-green needles and irregular branches that form clusters of buds at the tips. After 10 years, a mature plant will measure 12 inches (30 cm) tall and 24 inches (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 1 to 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm).

Despite being a fairly well-known conifer in the nursery trade, 'Kellerman's Blue Cameo' is of unknown origin, thought to have originated in the U.S. in the early 1980s. It's first mention in botanical literature was in 1985, by L.C. Hatch.
