Picea abies 'Bally' is an irregular-globose selection of Norway spruce with random branching holding short, dark-green foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 16 inches (40 cm) tall and wide, an annual growth rate of 1 to 1.5 inches (2 cm).
This origin of this cultivar is unknown, although thought to have been introduced to the nursery trade by Güsnther Horstmann Nursery, Schneverdingen, Germany.
