Picea abies ‘Bago’

Picea abies 'Bago' is a diminutive, globose selection of Norway spruce with dense, uniform branching holding typical dark-green foliage. After 10 years a mature specimen will measure 12 inches (30 cm) tall and wide, an annual growth rate averaging 1 inch (2.5 cm) or less. It's a great choice for a small garden, rockery or trough planting.

This cultivar originated as a witch's broom found in 1995 by Jií Balatka & Karel Gotvald of Czech Republic.
