Larix kaempferi 'Blue Rabbit' is a narrowly conical, fast-growing, tree form of Japanese larch with exceptionally bright Blue foliage, probably the best Blue in this species. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 10 feet (3 m) tall and 4 feet (1.3 m) wide, an annual growth rate of nearly 1 foot (30 cm).
This cultivar originated as a seedling selected around 1960 by Leen Konijn Nursery, Reeuwijk, The Netherlands.
