Larix kaempferi ‘Blue Dwarf’

Larix kaempferi 'Blue Dwarf' is a robust, irregular globose, dwarf selection of Japanese larch with long silver-Blue foliage. After 10 years, a mature specimen will measure 28 inches (70 cm) tall and wide, and annual growth rate of 2 to 3 inches (5 - 7.5 cm).

This cultivar originated as a witch's broom introduced to the nursery trade in 1982 at Jan-Dieter zu Jeddeloh Nursery, Edewecht, Germany.
