Parson's Juniper: NC State Extension lists species as J. chinensis. ACS as J. squamata. Genera and species keep changing with DNA or other research. Does anyone know for sure the current species of 'Parsonii'? Thank you.

Hi Phin ... this one's messy for sure. It looks like you're right. The correct name for this one is J. chinensis 'Parsonii' ... we need to drop the Expansa part, move it to it's proper species and fully write it up. Thanks for pointing this out to us.
Oddly, the RHS lists it as synonymous with J. sabina var. davurica 'Expansa' ... doesn't get much messier than that.
