Juniperus conferta ‘Blue Lagoon’

Juniperus conferta 'Blue Lagoon' is bluish-green color with single white band on each needle, beautiful plum winter color; branches are dense & congested; compact, low-growing habit, forming dense, tight mat at maturity; full sun.

An important highlight: It has shown immunity to rodent damage.

This US National Arborteum (USNA) introduction was released in 1992. It was discovered in Japan in 1976 during a USNA collecting trip. The plant was under cultivation in the Aritaki Arboretum, where the USNA obtained cuttings.
