Cupressus nootkatensis ‘Laura Aurora’

Cupressus nootkatensis 'Laura Aurora' is a slow-growing, upright selection of Alaskan Cedar. It's quite distinguished with yellow and green variegation and its upright, globose shape. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 4 feet (1.3 m) tall and 2 feet (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 4 to 6 inches (10 - 15 cm).

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in the late 1980s by Talon Buchholz, Gaston, Oregon, who introduced it to the nursery trade through the Flora Wonder„¢ Collection of Buchholz Nursery, naming it after his daughter.
