Cupressus nootkatensis ‘Glauca Pendula’

Cupressus nootkatensis 'Glauca Pendula' is a full-bodied, large-growing selection of Nootka cypress with slightly pendulous, rich, blue-green foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 14 feet (3.5 m) tall and 4 feet (1.3 m) wide, an annual growth rate of greater than 12 inches (30 cm).

This is an old cultivar to the nursery trade and is of unknown origin. It is speculated to have been introduced in 1865 by H. Bergman of Stinars Shady Oak Nursery, USA.
