Cupressus nootkatensis ‘Aureovariegata’

Cupressus nootkatensis 'Aureovariegata' is a small, broadly-conical, tree-form of Nootka cypress with green foliage and patches of golden-yellow variegation. After 10 years a mature specimen will measure 6 feet (2 m) tall and 4 feet (1.3 m) wide, an annual growth rate of 6 to 8 inches (15 - 20 cm).

This cultivar originated as a branch sport introduced to the nursery trade in 1875 by Maurice Young of Milford Nursery, Godalming, Surrey, United Kingdom.
