Chamaecyparis thyoides ‘Glauca Pendula’

Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Glauca Pendula' is a very open, loose-growing, upright weeping selection of Atlantic white cypress with pendant branching and Blue foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 6 feet (2 m) tall and 4 feet (1.3 m) wide, an annual rate of growth of 6 to 8 inches (15 - 20 cm).

The origin of 'Glauca Pendula' is unfortunately unknown. It is thought to have been selected and named in the USA with its first mention being in the 1980s, meaning that this is potentially an illegitimate cultivar name.
