Chamaecyparis thyoides ‘Conica’

Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Conica' is very slow-growing conical selection of Atlantic white cypress with rich, Blue-green entirely juvenile foliage that turns bronzy in winter in colder climates. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 3 feet (1 m) tall and 2 feet (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 3 to 4 inches (7.5 - 10 cm).

This cultivar originated as a branch sport found around 1940 on Ch. thyoides 'Andelyensis' by L. Konijn Nursery, Reeuwijk, The Netherlands. This plant is sometimes seen listed as 'Andelyensis Conica.'
