Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Just Dandy' is a dwarf, flattened globose selection with loose, layered, spreading branching, and tight, compact sprays of light-green foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 1.5 feet (45 cm) tall and 2 feet (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 1 to 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm).
This cultivar originated as a seedling sourced from C. obtusa 'Nana Gracilis' in the early 1980s by Iseli Nursery, Boring, Oregon.
