Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Stilton Cheese' / Stilton Cheese Lawon cypress

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Stilton Cheese' is a broadly upright, bushy selection of Lawson cypress with dense shaggy branching and species-typical Blue foliage variegated with creamy yellow — a color combination reminiscent of the popular English cheese. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 6 feet (2 m) tall and 4 feet (1.3 m) wide, an annual growth rate of 6 to 8 inches (15 - 20 cm).

This cultivar is of unknown origin and no longer commonly produced in the international nursery trade. It is thought to have been first seen in 1992 in the Windsor Great Park, Berkshire, U.K.
