Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘Nana Glauca’

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Nana Glauca' is dwarf, conical selection of Lawson cypress with coarse, dense, blue-green foliage. Once established, one can expect a specimen to grow at a rate of 2 to 3 inches (5 - 7.5 cm) per year. After 10 years of growth, a mature plant will measure 24 to 36 inches (60 - 90 cm) tall and wide.

This is an old cultivar in the nursery trade, having been selected and introduced in 1881 by John Veitch & Son Nursery, Chelsea, United Kingdom.
