Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘Knowefieldensis’

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Knowefieldensis' is a very broad, flat-topped spreading selection of Lawson cypress with floppy sprays of rich, blue-green foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 2.5 feet (80 cm) tall and 3 feet (1 m) wide, suggesting an annual growth rate of 3 to 4 inches (7.5 - 10 cm).

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected around 1910 by Little and Ballantyne Nursery, Carlisle, United Kingdom.
