Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Forsteckensis' is a broadly globose, very densely branched dwarf selection of Lawson cypress with small gray-blue, moss-like foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 20 to 28 inches (50 - 70 cm) tall and wide, an annual uniform growth rate of 2 to 3 inches (5 - 7 cm).
This cultivar originated in the late 1880s in the Forstecker nursery, Germany.
