Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Dik's Weeping' is a striking, very vigorous upright weeping cultivar of Lawson cypress with a strong vertical leader, pendulous branching that hangs straight down from the central stem and gray-green foliage. After 10 years of growth a mature specimen will stand 12 to 18 feet (4 - 6 m) tall and less than 2 feet (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of more than one foot (30 cm).

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in the early 1980s at the H.J. van de Laar nursery, The Netherlands.
