Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘Bleu Nantais’

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Blue Nantais' is a slow-growing, upright, conical selection of Lawson cypress with dense branching and erect sprays of light, silver-blue juvenile foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 40 inches (1 m) tall and 28 inches (70 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of around 4 inches (10 cm).

This cultivar originated as a branch sport found in the early 1970s, on a specimen of 'Elwoodii' by Renault Brothers Nursery, Gorron, France.
