Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘Aurea’

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Aurea' is a graceful, dwarf conical selection of Lawson cypress, with golden-yellow foliage. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 4.5 feet (1.5 m) tall and 40 inches (100 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of around 6 inches (15 cm).

This cultivar originated as seedling selected in the mid-1860s by J. Waterer Nursery, Bagshot, United Kingdom.
