Abies sibirica ‘Lukasz’

Abies siberica 'Lukasz' is a very dense upright conical selection of Siberian fir with thin, fluffy, light-green needles, more-or-less typical of the species and branches held at a fairly acute angle to the trunk almost presenting a fastigiate effect. It is said to be similar in structure to Picea pungens 'Conica.' After 10 years of growth a specimen will be considered mature at about 40 inches (100 cm) tall and half as wide.

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected by Andrzej Potrzebowski of Poland and introduced to the nursery trade by Janusz Szewczyk Nursery.
