Abies procera 'Rick's Foxtail' / Rick's Foxtail Noble fir

Abies procera 'Rick's Foxtail' is a narrow, upright tree-form of Noble fir with a thick, strong, central leader; short, lateral branching; and small fan-shaped sprays of blue-green needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 6 feet (2 m) tall and 2 feet (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 6 to 8 inches. It's unique appearance and narrow footprint make 'Rick's Foxtail' very popular with conifer collectors and connoisseurs.

This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in the early 2000s at Hopper Brothers Nursery, Woodburn, Oregon. The the time of writing it is unknown who "Rick" is.

Can you give me any information on the root growth habit of Abies procera 'Rick's Foxtail' / Rick's Foxtail Noble fir? I have a spot a few feet from my septic tank where it would look so nice but am worried it could be a problem.
