Abies grandis ‘Johnsonii’

Abies grandis 'Johnsonii' is a narrow, medium-sized conical tree with ascending branches and dark glossy green needles. Similar seedlings often appear in seed beds.

Found by J. A. Johnson below Rainier, Oregon, USA in 1897 and named in 1942. (RHS Encyclopedia of Conifers, 2012)
