Abies concolor 'Fastigiata' / White fir

Abies concolor 'Fastigiata' is a small tree with a dense columnar habit, needles shorter than in the species. In ten years 6.5 x 2.5 feet (2 x .75 m).

Found before 1889 in the Thibault & Keteleer Nursery, France. (RHS Encyclopedia of Conifers, 2012)

Columnar habit, branches very short and ascending.
