Abies concolor 'Aurea' / Golden white fir

Abies concolor 'Aurea' young needles flush golden yellow, later turning silver-grey. Slow and untidy when young, with time it develops into a rather striking tall trees. In ten years 5 x 3 feet (1.5 x 1 m).

Discovered before 1906 by Ansorge Nursery, Germany.

Spring flush golden-yellow, becoming silvery in the summer.
