Abies balsamea 'Glauca' grows like the species but has Blue foliage. (Robert L. Fincham) According to Humphrey Welch and Gordon Haddow in their 1993 A World Checklist of Conifers , it probably is not distinct from 'Coerulescens.'
First reported by Beissner 1899.
