Conifer Trees Database

Welcome to the American Conifer Society Database

Established in 1983, our mission is centered on advocating for the integration of conifer trees in garden designs and landscapes. We are dedicated to educating enthusiasts and the general public about the proper care, cultivation, and conservation of these majestic and diverse evergreens.

Abies lasiocarpa ‘Creamy’

Abies lasiocarpa 'Creamy' is a slow-growing evergreen conifer shrub or tree with blue, chartreuse, green and variegated foliage. Grows well with sun to mostly sunny light conditions and regular to occasional watering. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. The Creamy Subalpine Fir is good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

This blue-green foliage of the Creamy Subalpine Fir emerges a creamy yellow color in spring. The cultivar is considered by some to be a variety of Abies concolor var. lowiana. It is a fairly uncommon but colorful conifer!
