Welcome to the American Conifer Society Database

Abies koreana ‘Kohout's Hexe’

Abies koreana 'Kohout's Hexe' is a slow-growing evergreen conifer shrub with green foliage. Kohout's Hexe Korean fir grows well with sun to mostly sunny light conditions and regular water. The cultivar does well in average to rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant and wind tolerant.

The beautiful, light-green foliage of Abies koreana 'Kohout's Hexe' is densely arranged in a tight ball on this miniature fir. The silvery undersides are rather prominent, giving a shimmering look to this conifer!
