Abies alba 'Pancake'is a slow growing, evergreen conifer shrub with intense dark green foliage. The Pancake European Silver Fir grows well with sun to bright shade for lighting, and regular to occasional watering. The cultivar prefers well-drained soil.
The small shrubby fir has a supple habit with a flat top and tiered branches of dark-green, glossy foliage that looks like pancakes stacked atop each other. The cultivar is a very unique fir that grows symmetrically in a column.
