The American Conifer Society presents:

Justin C. “Chub” Harper Award for the Development in the Field of Conifers (Latest Winner)

Marvin and Emelie Snyder Award of Merit for Dedicated Support of the American Conifer Society (Latest Winner)

Annually the American Conifer Society presents two awards at the National Meeting in the summer to individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of conifer propagation and collecting – the Harper Award – and for contributions to the ACS itself – the Snyder Award.

History of the Merit Awards

The Jean Iseli Memorial Grant

Awarded to a public institution that has demonstrated its support of the development, conservation and propagation of conifers.

The ACS Scholarship

The American Conifer Society annually offers a $2500 scholarship to a worthy candidate pursuing a career in horticulture who has demonstrated an interest in conifers.

The ACS Research Award

The purpose of the fund is to facilitate and support fundamental and applied research in the field of conifers in accordance with the mission as stated in the Constitution of the Society. Research may include, but is not limited to, propagation methods and techniques, plant pathology, and plant identification methods,

The ACS National Reference Garden Award

Each year the ACS awards a $3,000 grant to one of the four ACS Regions to assist with a development of an ACS Reference Garden.
