I just bought this at Sorticulture in Everett, Washington today. I can’t find any information on this tree online. Can you find any?

Hello Louise,
I just checked all of my vast resources and came up with absolutely nothing. It’s probably a new selection. To determine provenance at this point, you’ll not to go back to the grower, ask them where they got it and start working backward from there.

Fisher’s Flat probably refers to where the original plant was found.

good luck!

Louise – what nursery /vendor was selling this plant? Only three nurseries had received cuttings off the original broom. Here is the story I posted regarding the broom —- http://western.conifersociety.org/news/witchs-brooms-hoyt-arboretum/
