omorika 'aurea pendula'? (2 Replies)

We bought this tree a few years ago under the name which I can best remember as omorika ‘aurea pendula.’ Please, can someone verify that for us? Thanks!

Hello! You’ve got a bit a mystery on your hands here. This does not look like Picea omorika at all. I think it’s a Picea abies of some sort.

I’m looking at the flashes of silver on the undersides of the needles and it appears to be an omorika to me . Looks like the tree is in the shade which would make for the finer foliage and lack of yellow coloring in the new flush, so quite possibly it is as described but in the wrong spot?
