I just had my old Nikon D200 converted into an infrared camera (at KolariVision.com) and decided to give it a try while touring with the ACS NER Region Meeting on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at The National Arboretum in Washington DC.

I loved these pictures as well. It gives you a new perspective. I like to walk in our gardens at dusk for the same reason because you see things in a new way without color overwhelming the eye. In many ways these are more interesting than winter pictures because it can flip things around as far as contrast. What used to be a background tree may be the brightest and showiest of all.
