Abies koreana with white "powder" (1 Replies)

Posted October 7, 2018 at 8:23 am

My Abies koreana (bought as conifer of the year in 2014) appears to be dying & looks like it has white powder on the needles. It did well for 3 years then I moved it last spring. (In retrospect a dumb idea?) It have been the heat of this past summer. Any suggestions?

I suggest you post a picture so we can see what’s going on.Abies koreana often has white resin on the foliar buds. This species is usually really good in the heat. Where are you?
